Community Development & Enrichment
Turning Community Expertise Into Community Opportunity
MCC helps instructors, professionals, and community members share their skills with others.
How the Model Works
MCC's community-development model is based on partnership.
The instructor provides expertise.
MCC provides space, community access, and outreach.
Participants contribute an affordable program fee.
A portion of program revenue helps support MCC's community infrastructure.
This creates a model where the instructor can earn income, participants receive a valuable service, and MCC can continue expanding community opportunities.
Women's Fitness & Wellness
MCC provides a women-focused environment for fitness and wellness programming.
The current program meets four mornings per week.
Martial Arts
MCC's developing martial-arts program gives young people and families access to physical activity, discipline, confidence, and skill development.
Practical Skills
Programs such as crochet workshops allow community members to learn practical and creative skills from experienced instructors.
Professional Development
MCC partners with qualified professionals to make career and professional-development opportunities available locally.
Programs include project-management and certification-related education, with opportunities to expand into digital literacy, career development, and other practical professional skills.
Workshops & Lifelong Learning
MCC continues exploring one-day and short-form workshops around topics that strengthen individuals and families.
Programs are piloted and evaluated before MCC considers significant expansion or fundraising.
Our Goal
A community center that creates both impact and sustainability.
